Services

Kind Hands ABA Therapy does offer In-Home services.  Along with our tradition of fun-learning and functional-learning, for clinical settings, this transfers to the home as well.  We listen to our parents, asking what they want for their child and we deliver.  Every home is private, and we keep it that way.  We are never in a home to judge or to make anyone feel uncomfortable.  As with HIPPA, it applies to the home as well along with our policies that promote the family-therapy interaction.  In-Home services are different  from In-Clinic services in that, In-Home services does not focus on rigor, but more on functional skills for the home as well as social skills and others for community interaction.  We introduce our targets with the fun (play) structure we develop, so children are less adverse to developmental trials.  Most children are not receiving therapy, so we want our kiddos to not feel the pressure of typical in-home services.  We want your kids to develop and thrive, our way of doing it reduces the level of stress, and increases the level of participation, resulting in a child thriving across environments.  

In-School ABA services are quite unique.  Many agencies have to navigate through tough torraine, often times bumping heads with schools.  We admit that we have the potential of doing the same.  We are advocating and providing services to a child, we are here to not only aid in the regulation of behavior, but also to provide positive supports for the chiild.  In In-School ABA (Kind Hands) we see our mission as being their to assist the school in educating our client.  We address behaviors that interfere with the child ability to learn.  But we also look at the norms of behavior, often times our clients are the bests behaved.  When this happens, some may look to over-correct the child.  We don't see it tha way.  Nom child is perfect and no child behaves perfectly.  Providing over correction, cues, and prompts, for mild behavior exhibited by all kids can actually hurt the child.  We expectations from insurance companies, ABA Programs are discouraged from providing academic teaching as it often doesn't line up with billable service lines.  We believe that children's success is linked to academic focus and academic support.  We will address all targets in the plan, and we will correlate our activities such that it meets the definition.  But there are plenty of times where our therapist will not be able to run any agency programs, we will encourage our therapist to assist where requested during these times.  

Kind Hands ABA Therapy was founded to provide In-Clinic Therapy for children on the spectrum.  We are building the Dream and we can't wait until we're there.  We are aiming to build or modify a property large enough to have 16 classrooms, 3 large Programming rooms (Sensory, etc.), a kitchen, and a large area for an in-door recreation facility.  We love innovation and technology; there will be a Smart TV in each room to enhance learning.  We will also have a large out-door recreational area.  Every aspect of the physical plant will be inviting and reinforcing to our children.  We will staff with with college graduates that have the skillset to use our technology at the highest level.  Transparency:  We want our parent to know what's going on with their child.  Parents will be able to visit their child in therapy at scheduled times.  Parents will also be able to have the same access during nonscheduled times as well.  Our team is strong and understand the importance of the children we serve.  Individual attention is required as each child is expected to thrive and we are expected to get them there.  As mention earlier, our research is fun, we are looking across the nation and beyond for advanced innovation and technology for our kiddos here in Tennessee
